Al-Tarabulsi and Chinese Embassy Discuss Strengthening Security Cooperation and Business Resumption

Tripoli: The Minister of Interior of the Government of National Unity, Major General Emad Al-Tarabulsi, met today with Liu Jian, the Charg© d'Affaires of the Chinese Embassy in Libya, along with his delegation. The focus of the meeting was on strengthening security cooperation between the two nations and ensuring the return of Chinese companies to Libya.

According to Libyan News Agency, the discussions revolved around enhancing security cooperation and reviewing joint initiatives. Key points included developing the technical capabilities of the Libyan Ministry of Interior and supporting specialized security training and qualification programs.

The Charg© d'Affaires, Liu Jian, expressed gratitude for the warm reception and praised the Ministry of Interior's efforts to enhance the security situation. He noted that the improved security in Tripoli has been pivotal for the Chinese Embassy to resume its operations from within Libya.

Additionally, the meeting covered plans to ensure the secure return of Chinese companies to Libya. Both parties emphasized the importance of exchanging visits to bolster joint cooperation, aiming to open broader horizons for partnership in security and development sectors.
