Trabelsi Holds Talks with UN Mission Head on Security Matters

Tripoli: The Minister of Interior, Imad Trabelsi, engaged in discussions with the head of the United Nations mission, Hanna Tetteh, focusing on a number of security files.

According to Libyan News Agency, the Ministry of Interior reported that the meeting involved a review of the latest developments in the ministry's work. This included its efforts in implementing its security plan and the achievements made in this regard.

The ministry further noted that Trabelsi highlighted the negative impact of illegal immigration on Libya and Mediterranean countries. He emphasized the importance of support from the United Nations mission for the ministry's voluntary repatriation program for migrants. Trabelsi called for necessary assistance to address this crucial issue.
