Tripoli:The U.S. Embassy in Libya has expressed its support for the ongoing engagement between Libyan parties and the United Nations Support Mission in Libya (UNSMIL). This collaboration is focused on achieving a consensus to pave the way for a unified executive authority, unification of institutions, and the execution of credible presidential and parliamentary elections.

According to Libyan News Agency, the Embassy highlighted its appreciation for initiatives aimed at bolstering the unity of the judiciary through a post on the platform "X."

In addition to this, the U.S. Embassy reaffirmed in another post that the United States Africa Command (AFRICOM) will continue to back Libya's efforts in strengthening unity and ensuring security throughout the region.
