Tetteh Meets with Several Mayors in Nalot

Nalot: The head of the United Nations Support Mission in Libya (UNSMIL), Hannah Tetteh, along with her deputy Stephanie Khoury and their delegation, arrived in Nalot to hold discussions with local leaders. During this visit, Tetteh engaged in talks with the mayors of the municipalities of Nalot, Zwara, Wazen, Kabaw, Jadu, Yefren, and Al-Qalaa. The discussions also included the head of the Supreme Council of the Amazigh of Libya, as well as academics, political elites, notables, and activists from these municipalities.

According to Libyan News Agency, the meeting focused on the recommendations of the UNSMIL Advisory Committee and examined the current situation in the country, addressing both its causes and potential solutions. The mission had previously announced plans to begin consultations with youth regarding the Advisory Committee's findings and the proposed options for moving forward.
