Tripoli: The National Oil Corporation (NOC) and the French Petroleum Institute (IFP) have agreed to renew their cooperative efforts in the field of training and capacity building. This decision was made during a visit by the Director General of the General Department of Training, Development, and Capacity Building, along with a delegation, to the institute.
According to Libyan News Agency, the agreement encompasses the implementation of academic and specialized training programs focusing on petroleum operations and the operation of petrochemical units. It also includes additional programs aimed at awarding specialized certificates. NOC stated that the purpose of this agreement is to enhance the quality of training programs and to concentrate on refining and developing the sector's workforce to align with global advancements in the energy sector.
