Doha: The Minister of Transport in the Government of National Unity, Mohammed Salem Al-Shahoubi, and his Qatari counterpart, Mohammed bin Abdullah bin Mohammed Al Thani, have signed an updated agreement on air services. This agreement revises the original pact signed between Libya and Qatar on April 28, 2004.
According to Libyan News Agency, the Qatari Ministry of Transport released a statement indicating that the update aims to make the agreement more adaptable to recent advancements in civil aviation. The signing took place at the Qatari Ministry of Transport headquarters, highlighting the ongoing efforts to support and strengthen Libyan-Qatari relations in air transport through new agreements.
The ministers also discussed bilateral relations in transport, communications, and civil aviation. They explored various air transport activities and examined ways to enhance and develop these sectors.
