Bali: The Minister of Culture and Knowledge Development met with the Indonesian Minister of Culture, Fadli Zuwon, to explore ways to enhance cultural cooperation between Libya and Indonesia. This discussion took place on the sidelines of the Chandi Summit for Culture, Heritage, Arts, and Novels 2025, held in Bali, Indonesia.
According to Libyan News Agency, the Ministry of Culture reported that the meeting focused on reviewing prospects for joint cooperation, emphasizing the exchange of knowledge and expertise and collaboration in culture and arts. The Ministry noted that both parties agreed to draft a comprehensive memorandum of understanding in culture and arts, aiming to establish an institutional framework for sustainable cooperation between the two countries.
The Ministry further highlighted that the Indonesian Minister expressed a welcoming stance towards providing study opportunities for Libyan students interested in specializing in art, culture, and the creative economy. This would be facilitated through the "Darmasiswa" program, recognized as one of Asia's prominent cultural exchange initiatives.
