Tripoli: The Libyan Coalition organized a solidarity stand today in support of the residents of the Gaza Strip at Algeria Square in the capital city. The event, held under the slogan "The Maghreb Resilience Flotilla," underscores Libya's commitment to the joint regional action alongside Tunisia, Algeria, Morocco, and Mauritania as part of a global flotilla heading to Gaza.

According to Libyan News Agency, this initiative aims to break the siege imposed on Gaza and alleviate the hardships faced by its residents. The effort includes providing financial support, offering boats, and engaging individuals to participate actively. The Libyan Coalition reiterated its commitment to the Palestinian cause, emphasizing that Libya will be a strong presence in all initiatives supporting Palestinian rights.

In speeches delivered during the event, the Libyan Coalition highlighted the religious, humanitarian, and historical responsibilities driving this action. They called for media and popular support to ensure the flotilla's mission remains in the public consciousness. The coalition stressed that common sense opposes blockades and injustice, noting that history does not forgive those who fail to support the oppressed.

The "Global Steadfastness Fleet" is an international movement that includes solidarity activists from 44 countries, with over 70 ships involved. The fleet aims to deliver humanitarian aid to Gaza and express a global stance against the blockade while supporting Palestinian rights.

The Libyan Coalition, comprising individuals, institutions, and national campaigns, is recognized as a significant supporter of the Palestinian cause. By organizing relief convoys and hosting popular and media events, it strives to keep the issue alive in both Libyan and Arab consciousness.

The "Maghreb Steadfastness Fleet" is expected to depart from Tunisian ports on September 7, heading to Gaza to join the global fleet. This symbolic and practical initiative highlights the unity of the Maghreb peoples and their moral and humanitarian commitment to supporting Palestine.
