Alexandria: The Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Taher Al-Baour, visited the Libyan Consulate General in Alexandria, specifically at Loran Palace, to oversee and assess the ongoing maintenance work and examine the conditions of the Libyan community residing in Egypt.According to Libyan News Agency, the visit was part of the Ministry's initiative to monitor and improve the operations of Libyan embassies, consulates, and diplomatic missions abroad. During his inspection, Al-Baour engaged in discussions concerning the challenges faced by the consulate in providing adequate services to the Libyan community in Egypt. Various solutions were suggested to enhance service quality and streamline consular procedures.Al-Baour was accompanied by key figures including the Director of the Arab Department at the Ministry's Diwan, the Permanent Representative of Libya to the League of Arab States, and the Chargé d'Affaires of the Libyan Embassy in Cairo. The group was welcomed by the Actin g Minister of the Consulate General along with other consulate staff.The delegation also visited the attaché building to inspect the maintenance work and evaluate the overall condition of the consulate facilities. This initiative forms part of the Ministry's broader efforts to enhance the diplomatic work environment and ensure the uninterrupted delivery of services.
