Tripoli: The success of the municipal elections is an important step in the democratic process and strengthening stability. The head of the Presidential Council, Mohamed Al-Manfi, praised the success of dozens of municipal councils in the first local elections held throughout the country, describing it as an important step in the democratic path, enhancing stability and restoring legitimacy to all national institutions.According to Libyan News Agency, Al-Manfi stated in a post on his account on X today, Monday, that the success of the municipal elections is an indication that the Libyan people are able to participate and contribute to reaching a stable state through referendums and general elections. The success of the first municipal elections in ten years also reflects the desire of the Libyan people to directly express their opinion for a better future, and to build institutions capable of meeting the aspirations of the people throughout the country according to him.
