Tripoli: Ambassadors and representatives from several European Union countries recently paid a visit to the Counting and Statistics Center of the High National Elections Commission (HNEC) in Tripoli. This visit was part of an ongoing international effort to observe and support the municipal elections process in Libya.According to Libyan News Agency, the Chairman of the Commission's Board of Directors, Imad Al-Sayeh, along with Board Member Abu Bakr Marda, provided the visiting dignitaries with a comprehensive briefing on the center's operational mechanisms. The briefing aimed to showcase the Commission's dedication to ensuring a successful electoral process through integrity, transparency, and neutrality.The Commission further reported that the visiting ambassadors expressed their appreciation for the HNEC's diligent efforts in organizing the municipal elections. They emphasized that such visits are crucial for the international community to closely monitor and support the progress of the municipal counci l elections, scheduled for the first group in 2024.
