Tripoli: Libyan and Turkish officials have engaged in discussions to activate a memorandum of understanding (MoU) focusing on law enforcement and training. Undersecretary of the Ministry of Interior for Public Affairs, Major General Mahmoud Saeed, met with Turkish Deputy Minister of Interior, Munir Karaloglu, to deliberate on the implementation of the MoU, which aims to enhance the efficiency of security personnel.According to Libyan News Agency, the meeting took place at the Ministry's office in Tripoli and coincided with the second meeting of the Libyan-Turkish Security Cooperation Committee. Members of the committee explored ways to bolster and monitor security cooperation between Libya and Turkey, addressing issues of mutual interest.Karaloglu acknowledged the efforts of the GNU-Interior Ministry, emphasizing Turkey's interest in advancing the strategic partnership within the security sector between the two nations.
