Geagea Highlights Signs of New Dawn for Lebanon at Jezzine LF Dinner


Beirut: Lebanese Forces Party Head Samir Geagea has shared his optimistic outlook on Lebanon’s future, emphasizing that the country is witnessing the emergence of a new situation that offers hope for a redefined state. Speaking at an annual dinner hosted by the Jezzine branch of the Lebanese Forces Party, Geagea noted, “We have a new president and a new government, and we have begun to witness the features of a new emerging situation, which opens before us horizons of hope for the establishment of a new state.”



According to National News Agency – Lebanon, Geagea expressed his belief that Lebanon is on the brink of a promising future, which he described as a long-held dream finally taking shape. He acknowledged that while progress is not as rapid as desired, it is nonetheless happening, providing a tangible sense of hope. “What is required of us is to join hands so that we can embody this hope for future generations,” Geagea urged.



The remarks were part of Geagea’s address, which was broadcast during the dinner event held under his patronage and represented by MP Ghada Ayoub. The event also saw participation from Strong Republic parliamentary bloc member, MP Saeed Asmar, and the head of the Jezzine Municipalities Union, Bassam Romanos.



Geagea commended the Jezzine community for its role in recent municipal elections, highlighting their commitment to a clear political vision and their ongoing quest for positive change. “Jezzine has proven once again that it lives up to the trust, just as it did in the parliamentary elections,” he stated, reinforcing the region’s dedication to progress and transformation.
