Sirt: The United States reaffirmed its unwavering commitment to supporting Libya's unity, security, and stability during the visit to Sirt by Jeremy Brent, the Chargé d'Affaires of the US Embassy to Libya. In a video posted by the US Embassy on its Facebook page, Brent expressed his honor to be in Sirt, describing it as a city located in the heart of Libya and a vital bridge connecting the east and west of the country.According to Libyan News Agency, Brent highlighted the historical context of Sirt, recalling that nine years ago, the city was under the control of ISIS. He noted that the United States stood with the Libyan people in their fight against terrorism and supported their efforts to liberate the city.
