Acting Minister of Economy and Trade Meets with German Chargé d’Affaires to Discuss Economic Cooperation

Tripoli: The Acting Minister of Economy and Trade, Suhail Abu Sheha, engaged in discussions with the German Chargé d'Affaires to Libya, Daniel Schimsky, focusing on economic and trade cooperation and exploring investment opportunities in the industrial and energy sectors.According to Libyan News Agency, the meeting also addressed the situation of German companies that have contracts for service and investment projects in Libya. Both parties deliberated on mechanisms to settle the status of these companies to facilitate the resumption of their operations. Additionally, efforts were made to organize meetings between chambers of commerce and business owners, alongside plans to resume German airline services through Libyan airports.
