Urgent Plan from Brega to End Congestion at Fuel Stations

Tripoli: The Brega Oil Marketing Company has confirmed that the unloading and distribution of petroleum products are continuing around the clock without interruption, as part of an urgent plan implemented in cooperation with relevant authorities to end the unjustified congestion at fuel stations.

According to Libyan News Agency, the company explained in a statement issued by its media office on Thursday evening that during the past 24 hours, it unloaded additional fuel shipments. This move aims to stabilize the local market and meet the growing demand.

The statement indicated that the unloading of a shipment of approximately 22 million liters of fuel is currently underway from one tanker. Another tanker, currently in the Al-Makhlaf area, will begin unloading as soon as the first tanker completes its operation.

In the same context, two additional tankers are preparing to enter the storage facilities in Zawiya and Misrata in the coming days. This is part of efforts to bolster the strategic fuel reserves in these two vital regions.

The company stressed that distribution operations are continuing at a steady pace from the storage facilities in Tripoli, Zawiya, and Misrata to ensure that fuel is delivered to all stations throughout the country.

The statement concluded by emphasizing that the company's teams are working at full capacity to ensure the availability of petroleum products in the local market. These efforts will continue until the end of the week to ensure that the needs of citizens are met effectively.
