Qasr al-akhyar: The United Nations Election Support Team, together with the Director and staff of the Electoral Management Office, conducted a tour of several polling stations in the Qasr al-Akhyar Municipality, which is located east of Tripoli.

According to Libyan News Agency, the High National Elections Commission reported that the tour was conducted under the security of local forces. The visit comes amidst the ongoing voting process for the election of 26 municipal councils out of a total of 63. The voting commenced promptly at 9:00 a.m. today as per the schedule set by the Elections Commission.
