Ukraine has declared that its forces are now in control of 74 residential settlements in the Kursk region and infiltrated into the border for a distance ranging between one to three kilometers throughout the past 24 hours.Briefing the President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, commander of the ground forces, Oleksandr Syrsky, said the Ukrainian army has taken control of 40 square kilometers of additional territory in the past 24 hours.Meanwhile, the Russian news network Sputnik reported from Kursk authorities that the situation in the region remains difficult, but it is under control and manageable, affirming that Ukrainian forces have penetrated 12 kilometers into Kursk and along the front for up to 40 kilometers.Source: Qatar News Agency
