Sanaa:The Head of the High Council of State, Mohamed Takala, held discussions with the Spanish Ambassador to Libya, Javier Soria Quintana, to review the latest political developments in the country.
According to Libyan News Agency, the meeting focused on addressing the ongoing political situation, efforts to overcome the current political impasse, and the promotion of dialogue and national consensus.
During the talks, Takala highlighted the significance of anchoring the political process in legal and constitutional frameworks. He also underlined the importance of enabling competent Libyan institutions to play their roles in creating a consensus-driven path, which is essential for organizing elections and concluding the transitional phases.
