Tripoli: The Supreme Judicial Council has condemned the storming of its headquarters in Tripoli, announcing its intention to pursue legal action. The incident, which the Council described as a storming by individuals affiliated with the Court of Cassation, occurred on Wednesday morning and was characterized as an imposition of a fait accompli and an unauthorized usurpation of authority.

According to Libyan News Agency, the Council's statement, published on its official page, called upon the Public Prosecutor's Office to fulfill its responsibilities in addressing the incident. Furthermore, the Council urged all judiciary members across Libya to support the Supreme Judicial Council, maintain judicial unity, and avoid engaging with those identified as the aggressors.

The Council emphasized its dedication to judicial unity, declaring its refusal to succumb to what it termed manipulation. In response to the incident, the Council has invited all its members to an upcoming meeting, with details to be announced, to deliberate on the situation and decide on further actions.
