Ankara: As part of efforts to strengthen military cooperation between Libya and Turkey, the Chief of the General Staff of the Libyan Army, Lieutenant General Dr. Salah al-Din al-Namroush, and his accompanying delegation paid an official visit to the headquarters of the Turkish Special Forces Command in Ankara.According to Libyan News Agency, during the visit, the Chief of Staff held a meeting with the Commander of the Turkish Special Forces, during which they discussed ways to develop joint training operations and raise the level of qualification and combat readiness, contributing to building the capabilities of the Libyan Army according to the latest military standards.The delegation also received a comprehensive presentation on the establishment of the Turkish Special Forces, their missions and combat role, and their advancements in training, equipment, and special operations.The visit included a field tour of the training facilities and modern combat training areas, where the Chief of Staff observed the training programs of Libyan military personnel participating in the advanced Special Forces course. He commended their level of discipline and competence, emphasizing the importance of this training in building a highly skilled force capable of executing special missions with a high degree of professionalism.This visit comes within the framework of the Libyan Army General Staff's vision to develop the army, enhance its technical and training capabilities, and benefit from international expertise in training and modern military technology.
