Tripoli: The Charg© d'Affaires of the Chinese Embassy in Libya, Liu Jian, has highlighted the increasing mutual political trust between China and Libya, emphasizing the ongoing efforts to achieve stability in the region. Liu Jian noted the sound and stable development of Sino-Libyan relations, which he believes are strengthening day by day.

According to Libyan News Agency, Liu Jian expressed China's commitment to playing a constructive role in supporting a political resolution to the Libyan situation. He emphasized the importance of a Libyan-Libyan solution for achieving security and stability in the country. The Chinese envoy pointed out that the People's Republic of China is focused on implementing agreements reached by the leaders of both nations and the outcomes of the Forum on China-Africa Cooperation.

Furthermore, Liu Jian assured that China will adhere to principles of equal treatment, joint cooperation, and mutual benefit. He mentioned the importance of the "Ten Partnerships" and their early implementation in Libya. The Charg© d'Affaires also highlighted the significance of the "Belt and Road" initiative, which aims to enhance cooperation between the two countries, benefit their citizens, and contribute to the progress of the Global South.
