Ankara: A delegation from the Libyan Audit Bureau, led by Khaled Shakshak, has concluded an official visit to Turkey. The delegation engaged in discussions with the Turkish Court of Accounts, directed by Metin Yaner, aiming to strengthen cooperation and activate the partnership agreement signed between the two nations in 2020.
According to Libyan News Agency, the visit focused on exchanging expertise and improving audit tools and methods to support transparency and accountability. Discussions covered several technical topics crucial for both parties.
During the visit, Shakshak also met with Turkey's Minister of Foreign Affairs, the Deputy Minister of Economy and Trade, and various department directors. These meetings underscored the depth of bilateral relations and the significance of audit bodies in enhancing development paths, trade exchange, and governance in Libya and Turkey.
