Hanoi, The CEO of the Saudi Fund for Development (SFD), Sultan bin Abdulrahman Al-Marshad, inaugurated today the Vocational College expansion project in Ha Nam Province, Vietnam. The project was financed by the Fund at a value exceeding $9 million and was attended by several officials, including the Vice President of Ha Nam Province, Tran Xuan Duong.
The project's primary objective is to establish 10 educational buildings, comprising state-of-the-art training lecture halls equipped with the latest educational technologies, residential accommodations for students and faculty members, and the revitalization of road, water, and sanitation services. This expansion initiative is expected to benefit over 3,000 male and female students annually, providing them with top-tier training opportunities and paving the way for a prosperous future.
During the inaugural event, Al-Marshad underscored the pivotal role of education and vocational training in unlocking human potential and propelling economic advancement. He expressed, "We take immense pride in supporting the expansion of Ha Nam Vocational College in Vietnam, ensuring that a greater number of young men and women receive high-quality training to facilitate their journey towards a prosperous future."
This project represents a significant component of the Fund's broader efforts to bolster the education sector in developing countries worldwide. To date, the Fund has undertaken over 80 educational projects and programs, with a cumulative value exceeding $2.6 billion.
