Sidi saïh: The Al-Sayeh Municipal Council commemorated the 104th anniversary of the Battle of Sidi Al-Sayeh on Monday, during an official ceremony held at the Faculty of Education auditorium. The event was attended by a number of officials and representatives of various organizations, as well as a gathering of local residents.According to Libyan News Agency, speeches delivered at the event emphasized the symbolic significance of this occasion in the national memory, recalling the heroism and sacrifices of our ancestors in confronting the invaders, and the exemplary resilience and defense of their land that they demonstrated.The speakers also stressed the importance of instilling the values of sacrifice and national belonging in the younger generations, and of strengthening awareness of national history, which contributes to building a cohesive present and a future based on pride in national identity.This event reflects the Al-Sayeh Municipal Council's commitment to commemorating national occasions, pres erving historical heritage, and connecting generations with their history of struggle, thereby reinforcing the spirit of citizenship and belonging.
