Berlin: The heads of the security working group for the Berlin process have called for an urgent peaceful resolution to the outstanding issues between the National Unity Government and the Counter-Organized Crime and Terrorism Unit (Radaa).

According to Libyan News Agency, the co-chairs of the Security Working Group of the Berlin Process commended the efforts made to reach an agreement between the Government of National Unity and the Counter-Crime and Counter-Terrorism Force. This statement was issued following a meeting on Thursday attended by key figures, including the Chief of Staff of the Libyan Army, the Chairman of the Ceasefire Committee, an advisor to the Chairman of the Presidential Council, and a representative of the Security and Military Arrangements Committee.

The co-chairs emphasized the need for an urgent and peaceful resolution of the outstanding issues and stressed the importance of the prompt implementation of any agreement reached. They called for a clear timeframe and concrete, practical steps to be laid out. Additionally, they urged all parties to maintain calm and restraint to prevent any acts of violence or harm to civilians.
