Saudi Border Guard Hosts 15th International Session to Develop Information Exchange of Code of Conduct

The 15th international course to develop standard operations criteria for the information exchange network of the Code of Conduct was launched today at Jeddah Academy for Maritime Sciences and Security Studies, where 15 trainees participated from 11 countries who signed the Jeddah Amendments to the Code of Conduct 2017.

The course held in cooperation with the International Maritime Organization (IMO) and other 8 international bodies and organizations in the training process aims to develop the knowledge of the participants, unify their concepts, enhance their skills and capabilities in the field of maritime security. It also aims to continue the approach of cooperation and partnership with IMO to support capacity building efforts and promoting the exchange of experiences at the international level.
