As part of Saudi Arabia's efforts to enhance its food security, the Saudi Agriculture Development Fund (ADF) signed on Sunday several financing contracts with multiple companies, with a total value exceeding SR 926 million. This aims to contribute to financing the import of various agricultural products such as yellow corn, soybeans and barley.

The financing contracts include several companies in the feed industry and livestock production, as well as dairy projects. Additionally, they cover other projects such as an agricultural product marketing center, cold storage warehouses, broiler and layer poultry projects.

Saudi Press Agency (SPA) said that the signing of the contracts is part of the programs and efforts of the Saudi Agricultural Development Fund to enhance food security, compensate for any shortage in the supply of goods and agricultural products and ensure the stability of food supply chains.
