S. Korea, US, Japan to Launch High-level Cyber Consultation Group

Seoul, South Korea, the United States, and Japan on Monday agreed to launch a high-level cyber consultation group.

KBS reported that according to a statement issued by the South Korean National Security Office today, work will begin to take the necessary measures to establish the body between the three countries.

The consultation group will devise ways to block North Korean cyber activities that fund its nuclear and missile programs and strengthen the joint response capability of the three allies against global cyber threats, the statement indicated.
