SANA'A - SABA : The Presidential Office celebrated on Tuesday the birth of the Prophet Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon him and his family.During the celebration, attended by Director of the Presidential Office Ahmed Hamid, First Deputy Prime Minister Sheikh Muhammad Meftah emphasized the significance of commemorating this occasion to highlight the Prophet's noble path and emulate his teachings.He expressed the pride and honor of the Yemeni people in supporting the Prophet and his message since the inception of his mission, and their ancestors' support for the prophetic mission through Islamic conquests, up to the present day.He praised their steadfast adherence to the Prophet's teachings in facing the enemies of the nation and countering conspiracies against Islam and Muslims.Sheikh Meftah pointed out the efforts of the enemies of the nation to undermine the celebration of the Prophet's birthday and distort his noble path, which have failed in the face of the awareness and resolve of the Yemeni people and their deep connection to the Prophet.He called for broad participation in the celebratory events of the Prophet's birthday, especially the central celebration on 12 Rabi' al-Awwal in the capital and across various governorates.The event expressed regret that some Muslims have adopted a negative stance towards the Prophet and his birthday celebrations, attributing this to their alignment with Jews and Christians.It featured a musical performance reflecting the significance of the Prophet's birthday and its impact on reinforcing Islamic values and principles among the people.Source: Yemen News Agency
