His Excellency Field Marshal Mahdi Al-Mashat, Head of the Supreme Political Council, met today,Thursday, at the Presidency House, Deputy Prime Minister for Economic Affairs - Minister of Finance, Dr. Rashid Abu Lahoum.

During the meeting, Abu Lahoum presented a report to President Al-Mashat on what the committee in charge of creating the investment and business environment has done.

President Al-Mashat stressed the task of the committee in charge of speedy completion of the draft investment law, in a way that meets the needs of the investment environment in Yemen.

He stressed creating the environment to support local production, accommodating small projects through contractual contracts between large companies, small companies, and promoting local inputs.

The President Al-Mashat directed to grant special concessions to joint-stock companies, in a way that encourages citizens to invest in these companies, stressing the importance of focusing on agricultural ,fish production and their transformational industries.
