Al-Baour and Omani Ambassador Commit to Strengthening Bilateral Ties

Tripoli: The acting Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the Government of National Unity met with the non-resident Ambassador of the Sultanate of Oman to Libya, Hilal bin Abdullah bin Ali Al-Sinani, and reached an agreement to activate the Libyan-Omani Joint Higher Committee. The meeting, held in Tripoli, also focused on expanding political and economic cooperation between the two countries.According to Libyan News Agency, the agreement was made public through a statement on the Ministry's official page. The meeting was attended by the Director of the Ministry's Department of Arab Affairs, Najib Al-Rayani. Discussions centered on enhancing bilateral cooperation to serve the common interests of Libya and Oman.The Ministry further elaborated that both nations expressed a mutual desire to strengthen their fraternal relations. Efforts will be directed towards elevating these relations to broader levels of cooperation and coordination. Preparations are underway to formalize an agreemen t for political consultations between the foreign ministries of both countries.Additionally, the meeting involved exchanging views on several current regional and international issues of common interest, signaling a commitment to joint efforts in addressing these matters.
