Khan Yunis: A Palestinian journalist, his wife, and children were killed today as a result of an Israeli airstrike targeting their apartment in Khan Yunis, located in the southern Gaza Strip.
According to Libyan News Agency, journalist Mohammed Saleh al-Bardawil, along with his family, lost their lives early Tuesday morning when Israeli aircraft targeted their residence in the Emirati neighborhood west of Khan Yunis. Local sources indicated that the attack resulted in multiple deaths and injuries, with al-Bardawil and his family among the casualties.
Al-Bardawil is the third journalist to be killed by the Israeli forces since the resumption of hostilities in Gaza on March 18. This renewed conflict followed the end of the first phase of a ceasefire agreement, which was subsequently overturned by the Israeli government. With al-Bardawil's death, the total number of journalists killed since the beginning of the ongoing 18-month conflict has now reached 209.
