Sabha: The Sabha Medical Center announced that it received 63 cases of injury among children during the first day of Eid due to playing with dangerous pellet guns. The center reported that the injuries varied from minor to moderate, with two cases requiring urgent surgical intervention, highlighting the threat these toys pose to children's safety.

According to Libyan News Agency, the center expressed concerns over the continued sale of these hazardous toys by some merchants. This situation presents a significant challenge to the efforts of relevant authorities, including the Attorney General in Sabha and the Municipal Guard, who are working to address the issue.

Medical professionals at the center emphasized the potential severe consequences of using pellet guns, particularly on children's eyes. They stressed the necessity of parental education on the dangers associated with these toys and urged for measures to be implemented to prevent children from experiencing such painful accidents.
