Outlaw Group Attacks Al-Ruwais Station in Western Mountains


Tripoli: An outlaw group attacked the Al-Ruwais station in the Western Mountains, causing significant disruptions to the electricity network. The General Electricity Company announced that the incident occurred in the early hours of Saturday morning.



According to Libyan News Agency, the company detailed in a post on its official page that the attack happened nine minutes after midnight. It resulted in the disconnection of the circuits (Al-Ruwais Bir Al-Ghanam) No. (2,1) with a voltage of 220 kV. The group used force to carry out the attack without consulting the main control room, leading to a significant interruption in the electricity supply.
