Tripoli: The Ministry of Interior of the Government of National Unity took part in the Preparatory Committee meeting for the 43rd session of the Council of Arab Interior Ministers. The meeting, held via videoconference, included representatives from the interior ministries of several Arab countries.

According to Libyan News Agency, the Ministry was represented by a committee led by Major General Nour El-Din Abu Jarida, the Director of the Department of International Relations and Cooperation. The delegation included specialists from relevant agencies. The meeting’s agenda focused on drafting resolutions and recommendations for the upcoming Council of Arab Interior Ministers meeting scheduled for April 1, 2026.

The Ministry of Interior emphasized that this participation aligns with its commitment to enhancing joint Arab security efforts and exchanging expertise to promote security and stability in the region.
