Tripoli: The Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the Government of National Unity, Taher Al-Baour, engaged in discussions with Jang Jehak, the Ambassador of the Republic of Korea to Libya. Their meeting focused on strengthening and developing bilateral relations between Libya and South Korea, particularly in the fields of education, technology, and health.
According to Libyan News Agency, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Government of National Unity reported that both parties explored ways to boost cooperation in these sectors. They also highlighted the importance of encouraging mutual investments and enhancing cultural exchange between the two countries.
The discussions extended to current regional and international challenges, with an emphasis on the importance of joint coordination to address these issues. Both representatives underscored the need for developing political and economic dialogue and supporting development projects that could provide mutual benefits.
The Korean Ambassador conveyed his country’s support for Libya’s efforts towards stability and development, affirming South Korea’s readiness to enhance bilateral cooperation across various sectors.
