Ministry of Industry discusses level of implementation of national vision projects

A meeting held on Sunday in Sana'a, headed by the Minister of Industry and Trade, Muhammad Al-Mutahar, discussed the level of implementation of the national vision projects for building the modern Yemeni state within the Ministry’s plans and projects for the past years.

At the meeting, the Minister of Industry confirmed the keenness to reflect the plans of the national vision within the ministry’s work processes and to translate the goals of the vision on the ground, noting that the vision is one of the most important national projects for comprehensive advancement.

He touched on a number of programs and plans completed by the Ministry within the national vision projects in the areas of strengthening local productive industries, protecting the national product, and establishing and developing industrial zones.

For his part, the head of the team in charge of the technical unit at the Presidency of the Republic, Dr. Abdulrahman Al-Jabri, praised the steps taken by the Ministry in implementing the plans and programs of the National Vision and the positive results it achieved.

In turn, the head of the executive unit for the national vision in the ministry, Fouad Al-Junaid, indicated that the ministry had completed 86% of the national vision projects until the end of the year 1444 AH within the framework of the plan funded for the projects, in addition to the implementation of 74% of the projects that were not centrally funded and were self-financed
