Tripoli: Minister of Industry and Minerals, Mohamed Abdelkader, discussed opportunities for implementing industrial and development projects in Libya with representatives of several Chinese companies. The meeting aimed at exploring potential collaborations to enhance Libya's industrial sector.
According to Libyan News Agency, the meeting was also attended by Khaled Rashed Amin, Secretary of the High Committee for Supervising Libyan-Chinese Cooperation. Discussions focused on localizing industries and transferring technical and technological expertise. The meeting explored leveraging the Chinese experience in infrastructure and manufacturing to support the industrial sector, enhance local production, and stimulate economic development.
During the meeting, attendees emphasized the importance of building strategic partnerships between the two countries. These partnerships aim to develop the Libyan industrial sector and open new horizons for investment and joint cooperation, serving mutual interests.
The Chinese company representatives participating in the meeting included "Fan" representing Jiangsu Desheng Construction Engineering and Industry Co., Ltd., and "Yang", Vice President of China Building Materials Industry for overseas Cooperation.
