Tripoli: The Ministry of Oil is discussing the possibility of leveraging Saudi Aramco's expertise to support efforts to increase production. The Minister of Oil and Gas in the Government of National Unity, Khalifa Abdul-Sadiq, engaged in discussions with the Saudi Minister of Energy, Prince Abdulaziz bin Salman, focusing on enhancing bilateral cooperation in gas projects and vocational training.
According to Libyan News Agency, the meeting took place on the sidelines of the Ninth OPEC World Seminar. It explored how Saudi Aramco's expertise could be utilized to support the Libyan Ministry of Oil's efforts to boost production and achieve optimal utilization of natural resources.
The ministers also reviewed efforts to update the joint vocational training plan, with details to be announced soon. This initiative reflects both countries' commitment to building qualified national cadres. Both sides emphasized the importance of strengthening fraternal relations and opening new horizons for integration in the energy sector to serve the common interests of Libya and Saudi Arabia.
