Tripoli: The Minister of Justice of the Government of National Unity, Halima Ibrahim, engaged in discussions with the Head of the Political Section of the United Nations Support Mission in Libya (UNSMIL) on Tuesday. The dialogue centered on the working mechanism of the Political Parties Committee.

According to Libyan News Agency, the meeting focused on the operational framework of the Political Parties Committee, particularly in the context of registering political parties and the challenges that arise in this process. The discussions also explored various avenues to bolster the committee's capabilities, ensuring it can effectively fulfill its responsibilities.

The meeting saw the participation of the Ministry's Rapporteur for the Political Parties Committee, along with several advisors from the committee, who contributed to discussions on strategies to enhance the committee's support structure.
