Tripoli: Member of the Presidential Council, Musa Al-Koni, has underscored the necessity of collaboration with the Islamic Development Bank Foundation (IsDB) to foster sustainable development across various sectors in Libya. Al-Koni's remarks were made during his participation in the introductory forum of the Islamic Development Bank Group held in Tripoli on Tuesday.
According to Libyan News Agency, Al-Koni emphasized the critical role the IsDB can play in leveraging its expertise to help advance the Libyan economy during this pivotal phase. He highlighted the significance of both the public and private sectors as integral components of the national economy, urging them to intensify their efforts in partnership with the bank to facilitate sustainable development and achieve stability in the region.
Al-Koni expressed his optimism about the potential outcomes of collaboration between Libyan institutions and the IsDB Foundation. He remarked that this cooperation is likely to result in an effective strategic partnership, paving the way for a prosperous future for the Libyan populace. He also noted the historical role Libya played in the establishment of the bank in 1974 and its contribution to sustainable development among member countries that have faced crises.
