Libyan Embassy Completes Scholarship Disbursement Procedures for Students in Egypt

Cairo: The Libyan Embassy in Cairo has announced the completion of procedures for disbursing scholarships to Libyan students sent to study in the Arab Republic of Egypt at the state's expense for the first quarter of 2025. The funds have been deposited into the beneficiary students' accounts.

According to Libyan News Agency, the announcement was made via a post on the embassy's official Facebook page, highlighting the efforts led by Ambassador Abdul Mutalib Thabet. Thabet, acting as the Head of the Libyan Embassy and Permanent Representative of Libya to the League of Arab States, held a meeting with the President of the Union of Libyan Students Studying in Egypt to address the students' conditions and resolve financial issues they face.

Ambassador Thabet emphasized that the timely disbursement of scholarships underscores the embassy's commitment to supporting students and ensuring the continuity of their educational journey. He noted that creating appropriate conditions for students contributes to enhancing their academic achievement and reducing the challenges they may encounter.
