Libyan Army Chief Chairs 2025 Military Colleges Meeting

Tripoli: The Chief of the General Staff of the Libyan Army, Lieutenant General Mohammed Al-Haddad, chaired the annual meeting of the Supreme Council of Military Colleges for the training year 2025. The meeting took place at the General Staff headquarters in Tripoli and saw the attendance of key military and educational leaders, including heads of agencies, directors of various departments, commanders of military colleges and academies, senior instructors, and other notable officials.

According to Libyan News Agency, the Chief of the General Staff welcomed the officers of the military colleges, highlighting the significant role these institutions play in producing academic cadres for Libyan army units. He stressed the necessity of support from various bodies and departments to ensure these institutions perform optimally.

The General Staff Media Center reported that the meeting's agenda included discussions on several key points. These covered evaluations and training reports for the current training year (2024-2025) and preparations for the graduation of student batches. Additionally, the meeting focused on determining student admission numbers for the 2025-2026 training year and developing academic curricula to align with recent military advancements, in collaboration with the Training Department.
