Tripoli: Libyan-Yemeni talks have commenced, focusing on enhancing security cooperation and establishing training programs between the two nations. Major General Nour Eddin Abu Jarida, the Director of the Department of Relations and International Cooperation at Libya’s Ministry of Interior in the Government of National Unity, held discussions with his Yemeni counterpart, the Director of the Department of International Cooperation and Criminal Police at Yemen’s Ministry of Interior.
According to Libyan News Agency, the meeting included several department heads and the Head of the Relations Office at the Criminal Investigation Department. The discussions centered on the potential establishment of training and coordination programs aimed at strengthening security work and international collaboration between Libya and Yemen.
