KSrelief Signs Agreement to Provide Drinking Water to People Affected by Drought in Somalia

King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) has signed a significant cooperation agreement worth USD 5 million with a civil society institution. This agreement aims to provide drinking water to communities in Somalia that have been adversely affected by drought. This initiative involves the digging and rehabilitating of several wells, which will be operated using solar energy.

The agreement was formally signed by the Assistant Supervisor General for Operations and Programs at KSrelief, Eng. Ahmed bin Ali Al-Baiz, during a ceremony held at the KSrelief headquarters in Riyadh.

This collaboration is a testament to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's unwavering commitment to humanitarian efforts worldwide, as facilitated through KSrelief. It reflects the Kingdom's dedication to assisting needy countries and populations across the globe.
