The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) clinics delivered medical services to 2,516 patients at the Zaatari Camp for Syrian refugees in Jordan during the second week of September 2024.The general medicine clinics treated 669 patients and dispensed necessary medications. The internal medicine clinic served 82 patients with conditions such as diabetes, high blood pressure, and asthma. Meanwhile, 294 children received care in the pediatric clinic. The emergency department attended to 229 patients, and 125 individuals were seen in the dental clinic. Additionally, various clinics provided specialized care to patients, including treatment for sinus and ear infections, eye conditions, and heart issues.Diagnostic services were also significant, with numerous laboratory tests and X-rays conducted to assist in patient care. The vaccination clinic administered 198 vaccines to 76 patients, while medications for chronic diseases were provided to 268 patients. The health education department bene fited 84 individuals. In total, the pharmacy filled 1,517 prescriptions. These efforts underscore the extensive healthcare support provided by Saudi Arabia to refugees.Source: Saudi Press Agency
