The Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development is marking International Youth Day, which falls on August 12 and carries this year the global theme "From Clicks to Progress: Youth Digital Pathways for Sustainable Development".Aligned with the ministry's overarching theme "our youth is our wealth," the focus remains on empowering young people to contribute to national development and excel on the global stage.To achieve these goals, the ministry launched earlier this year the Youth Development Strategy, which encompasses 20 initiatives aimed at increasing youths' participation in society and the workforce. A general administration for youth development has also been established to support young people and harness their potential.The ministry conducted over 15 workshops to raise awareness about the strategy and launched a professional certificate program for youth workers.With the youth constituting the largest segment of the Saudi population, the ministry aims to raise youth development indi cators, at both domestic and global levels.By fostering a supportive environment and developing youths' capabilities, the ministry seeks to empower young people and drive the nation's progress.Source: Saudi Press Agency
