Secretary General of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Jasem Mohamed AlBudaiwi has strongly condemned the latest Israeli targeting of a school sheltering displaced persons in Al-Daraj neighborhood, east of Gaza City, which led to the deaths of many martyrs and the injury of many others.AlBudaiwi stressed that the ongoing violent attacks launched by the Israeli occupation forces against the Palestinian civilians in Gaza and the rest of the Palestinian territories, and their direct targeting of shelters and camps for the displaced are considered war crimes."These actions highlight the dangerous criminal approach of the Israeli occupation forces and constitute a blatant violation of international and humanitarian laws and treaties. They disregard all legal, moral, and humanitarian values," he said.AlBudaiwi also called on the international community to assume its responsibilities and take immediate and serious action to arrive at a ceasefire, put an end to Israeli's dangerous military operations, and h old those responsible for violations of international laws accountable.Source: Saudi Press Agency
