The Secretary of the Capital, Dr. Hamoud Abad, inspected on Wednesday the asphalt repair progress work on Al-Thawra Stadium Street towards Aya Tour in Shu'ab district.Abad, along with the Undersecretary of the Works and Projects Sector, Engineer Abdulkarim Al-Houthi and Assistant Undersecretary Abdullah Hussein, listened to an explanation from engineers about the implementation of an asphalt layer and restoration works for potholes and damaged places with an area of 33 thousand square meters starting from the vicinity of Al-Thawra Stadium to Aya Tour.He urged the engineers and workers to intensify efforts and speed up the completion of asphalt and restoration of the targeted public street in order to facilitate traffic, improve and maintain the street.Abad emphasized the keenness of the local authority to implement service projects, especially in the field of roads and asphalt repairs to the main streets affected by floods and rainwater.Source: Yemen News Agency
